My third and final BBC2 ident

i have completed the third ident now also. it consists of a barrel firing balls at a block to expose the bbc2 logo. again the bbc2 created from an extruded spline. the balls made from spheres and the blocks basic boxes. i have had trouble rendering out an avi image for this animation. so so far can only upload onto blogger a still image. but the animation can be see with the max file that will be attached as a cd to this blog report when handed in.

BBC2 second ident

The second ident for bbc2 consists of number 2's falling from the sky and landing on their corner edges. a larger number 2 then falls down and when landing knocks the others away. this was a simple ident created using number 2's, created using extruded splines, a plane and couple of boxes. the focus was on simplicity, lighting and textures.

The satellelite is made using a number of boxes/cylinders and soft selection. the materials were all made using the material editor, apart from the bitmap used on the solar panels which was a stock image. The moon was created using a simple sphere, stock bitmap and a bump texture. The sun again created suing a sphere, with glow and ray used to create a light source.
