Rigging bones and skins
Today's lecture looked into the creation of bones to help animate charachters. First a cylinder was created as the base for an arm. By going to create, systems, object type bones, a bone sytem can be created for an arm. The cylinder then has a 'skin' modifier added to it and the bones selected as a rig. this then means that when the bones are moved the cylinder will move, attached to the bones as if it were a skin.
